Edifier ES20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review

Having tested the bigger model which is the ES60 some weeks ago I had high expectations and as always Edifier do not dissapoint considering the size of this speaker, not only does it have good looks it has great sound and also sports lighitng effects to suit any mood.

Also on board is the Edifier ConneX app which allows you to customise things even more making it a more vibrant speaker and allows you to cahnge the EQ the light effects and volume and is a simple UI and App to use on this speaker making it easy to get the desired effects.

The sound is excellent for its size as you will see in the video review down below and we also go through the app so you are aware of what is going on it is simple.

Overall this speaker looks great and sounds great ansd ideal for any home or office or your bedside locker giving you a punchy sound and will easily fill a room with good tunes.

Edifier ES850NB Hi-Res LDAC ANC Headphones Review

The Edifier ES850NB Hi-Res LDAC ANC headphones come in a sleek design with a premium feel. The matte finish and durable build quality making them comfortble to wear for hours on end.  Comfort is a standout feature; the headphones are lightweight and feature plush, skin-friendly leather ear cushions and a well-padded headband and they also fold up and comes with a secure travel case to protect when not in use.

Audio 

Equipped with 40mm titanium-coated drivers and certified for Hi-Res Audio, the ES850NB headphones deliver a surprisingly balanced and detailed sound profile and with the ConneX App you have control. The support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs ensures high-quality wireless audio transmission. The sound is great and expected from the brand no lag latency no tinny sound and super highs lows and mids noted with crisp clean audio and great bass and sounded much better than some recent more expensive headphones I have here for testing. The buttons are small however tactile and work well.

ANC

The ANC performance is a great feature on the ES850NB. With a rating of up to -45db, indoors you can not hear a thing and mostly the same outdoors. The headphones also include versatile ANC modes, including a wind reduction setting for outdoor use and a handy “Touch-to-Chat” function that instantly switches to ambient sound mode, allowing you to quickly hear your surroundings without removing the headphones.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The battery life of the Edifier ES850NB is excellent. Edifier claims up to 92 hours of playback with ANC off and 53 hours with ANC on. In real-world use, this translates to weeks of use on a single charge for most users. Battery life on a regular scale will vary per user and their settings as is always the case but overall you would get a week on average.

Conclusion

The Edifier ES850NB headphones are super and delivers premium features at a mid-range price. They offer a winning combination of excellent comfort, balanced sound quality, and powerful ANC. They certainly put it up to other leading brands but cost less including a travel case, low-latency game mode, and multipoint connectivity and a companion app make them a great choice. For anyone looking for a high-quality audio experience without breaking the bank, the ES850NB is a highly recommended and well-rounded option.

Having tested this out the last while it is something to behold when it comes to looks and sound..

Presentation is top notch as expected from Edifier and when you take the speaker out and hold it it is nothing short of premium with the looks and finish on all sides.

There is an array of buttons up top for controls including the adjustable ambient light on the underside of the speaker the front and rear grilles and the material that surrounds the speaker it is just shouts premium all over it.

When it comes to the audio it is quite remarkable for its size on a similar sized speaker from Edifier we reviewed some time ago it blows it out of the water with the sound it delivers and with the Edifier ConneX app you have more options at your disposal for your audio preferences.

Highs lows and mids are all great super bass super volume and no tinny sound maxed out or no lag latency was noticed during my testing and anyone that came into my house and when this was dishing out the tunes they all asked the same question what the f is that speaker called they loved the output it delivers and anyone else that does pick it up will do so, check out the video review down below and see much more on the latest speaker on offer.
