Tech Review – NOMAD sports case for the iPhone 14 Pro

Cases for your mobile phones are a plenty these days with new brands popping up all the time, however nomad is a brand we have had our eye on for some time and is one of the better known brands out there and there is some copycats too but nomadgoods is the real deal and have some really excellent products available and you should check them out as they have a wide range and the color palates are really nice.

OK so a phone case is a phone case to most people and you slap it on your phone and that is it, we also have a matching strap for the Apple Watch Ultra and this is the thing, matching products which is not something you see all the time and not only that they stand out and I have found this out first hand after testing both the case for my iPhone 14 pro and the strap for the Apple Watch Ultra the last while.

The case itself is clean and looks the part and covers your phone on all angles and of course is MagSafe compatible, it may be a bit on the slippy side on the rear however the sides offers extra gripping power and the lens on the rear is also protected to give some additional protection on the rear be it on a flat or mixed surface. When i say the case is on the slippy side I mean on a surface not when you hold it in your hand it actually is grippy given it has a glossy finish which is what makes it stand out.

The case will get attention and if you have an Apple watch having both will get even more and overall it is a great looking case with 6ft drop protection and gives you an overall premium look over competitors on the market yet keeping it clean.

Tudia is a brand we have been using some time now with all our devices and they stand up to the test and time, In fact I still use some of their cases today from devices that are near two years old and they have held up rather well and still in great shape and that means my devices are too and always cased up as I do not want an expensive screen or glass replacement bill, Tudia cover most of the mobile phones out there today and are a brand I can easily recommend to those who have just got a new phone.

The Tudia MergeGrip cases have you covered on any device you might have and the camera bar and screen are protected here yet again and I like how they tackle the camera bar again this time offering better protection than some rivals, the case again on the rear offers real grip again better than some rivals and one we recently reviewed in particular. The keys are tactile and there is a nice lip on the front of the screen meaning the device can be placed face down and rear down and to top things off wireless charging works with no issues too. Overall these cases are a winner for me again and they come in a nice range of colours to pick from unlike again other brands out there so you also get choice.

Tech Review – Otterbox Commuter case for the Google Pixel 7a

Otterbox is a well known case brand who has protected devices for many years and we of course tried and tested many which have been popular here and on our YouTube channel. So we went and bought our own commuter case for the Google Pixel 7a and check it out.

The case itself is of course robust and has a dual layer and all corners are protected on the device itself, the edges offers a nice grip whilst the back of the case is up for discussion being mostly slippy with two rubberised parts either side which is also grippy, the keys are slightly raised and work well and the front of the device has a decent lip tapering off either end to protect the screen face down. The case does allow wireless charging which is great and works fine. The camera lens is certainly well protected here and the device can be placed down on its rear of face without worrying about the screen or camera lens being marked.  All ports are accessible and the charging port has a protective flap to ensure no dirt or dust gets in, check the video below for a close up look what you get for your money and stay tuned for more case reviews for the Google Pixel 7a

Tech Review – Mkeke iPhone 14 pro clear case

Another case for the iPhone 14 pro and many to go and this time it is from Mkeke, sadly this looks like has been damage during transit but we must go on and this will not have any effect on the case due to where the crack is and looks like it was trampled on, however the rest is intact and fine and the case does a good job with protective air bag bumpers on the corners and gives you extra grip too the case also works with wireless chargers so that’s a plus and you can place the case face or rear down there is plenty of protection either side which you will see in the video below..

It is a case after all and not much can be said but as for the feel and look if you need a protective case check this one out which is also very affordable.

Tech Review – Pixel 7 chalk case

We have a range of cases coming for the Google Pixel 7 and we start off today with a case from Google which is the Chalk case which matches our device nicely. Clean and simple this case does a good job all round and works with wireless charging.

The case will give you additional grip and also has a lip on the top which protects the screen, the lens area on the rear is also protected but I can see dust building up in the corners, we will see over the next few days how that goes. The keys which are aluminium work fine and match the buttons on the device too and same for the logo on the rear. The case is made with over 30% recycled plastics which is nice and keeps things greener. Check the video for more below.

Tech Review – Otterbox Symmetry case for iPhone 14 Pro (Don’t Even Chai Brown)

The iPhone 14 pro is our chosen device from this years Apple drops and of course we have plenty of cases coming in the review we will be starting with this case from Otterbox with a nice name to it as seen in the title. With the pro models costing plenty of money repair costs will do too so investing in a case is always best practice.

This case has all as expected from the company and does work with wireless chargers you will be glad to know.. Of course the device can be placed face down and still room for a screen protector and the back camera array is also safe from harms way. The keys travel well and ports accessible giving you a pretty decent layer of protection for your iPhone 14 Pro.
