We all like to keep track of our finances especially in these times and there is plenty of ways to do it,there is apps and there is accountants,the accountants do not come cheap but this app is free and simple to use to help you out with expenses and more.
Kevin Bergin explains. The idea is to define your regular income, expenses & saving (things like salary, rent, UPC, car tax). The app will calculate your weekly spending limit, and you can enter daily purchases – which is graphed to show how close you are to your weekly spending limit. Also you can enter a weekly expense (like leap card) and easily see how much it will cost you for the year. Or enter yearly expenses (like car tax/insurance) and see how much it will cost you per week.
To use Savr you simply need to follow a few easy steps.
1: Enter your total income.
2: Enter your regular expenses. Predictable expenses such as rent, phone bills and transport.
3: Enter the amount you want to save.
4: Monitor your spending with one easy to follow graph of your day to day spending.
Twitter have launched a new featured which enables you to receive DMs from ANYONE. This can be a good thing or perhaps a bad thing,as is i often get DMs from people i don’t follow and this is annoying to say the least and its always marketing companies or someone looking for money in one form or another. Personally i think think practice should be banned full stop giving some users more rights over other that are not even celebs,At that point i think everyone should be treated equally regardless,celeb or not you join twitter,you face the real world..
If you have updated twitter you will now see a prominent message box within the persons profile,before this you would need to tap another button to access the DM feature to the person you are following. Twitter thinks this move will gain more users and perhaps create more mobile revenue,also its said to make people connect more. Below is what you will now see on a person’s profile.
If you do not want to be spammed to death with messages you can simply turn off this feature in settings,It is turned off by default but i would still check this and the rest is up to you from there,for me it will be staying off,having had multiple messages already from people i do not follow is annoying and i do not want anymore.

Nuzzel is a news aggregate so to speak and since the app i used most which was called Taptu closed its services i began looking for another app,there is of course many others like FlipBoard,Feedy and gReader but i like to have a selection.

Microsoft yet again dish out more goodies for Android and iOS users despite the lack of favours in return im sure people will be happy to hear they can now avail of the feature.However the version for Android is just a preview. Windows phone users are well aware there is a shortage of Apps,especially locally here in Ireland and alongside the bad perception by the media in General plus the lack of updates and Apps by MS and big companies here Windows users are pissed off to say the least and yes i am one of them.. So much to say i don’t use WP as a main daily driver no more but i have the phones there anyhow..
On boards.ie there is a community of users constantly asking about when apps will be updated or apps coming to the platform and i of course am one of those members there..
During the week a thread was started on SKY and will apps come to the platform,as we users already know we have Sky sports and Sky News..Sky think this is great and it will silence the lack of other apps but sadly not…
So we asked them head on and told them to cut the usual scripted nonsense like the banks have been feeding for the last two years. A user asked Sky the following.
So i asked sky Which Apps to be precise and Sky replied.. on this thread HERE As it stands on the SKY forums there is lots of people complaining regarding this matter and perhaps its not a sustainable move considered the market share for Windows which is said to be around 12% here in Ireland and similar in the UK..
At present, users of Windows devices can download the Sky Sports and Sky News apps from the Windows Marketplace. The full range of Sky’s apps are described in detail here, but as my colleague Daniel stated above, at this time we have no plans to expand to Windows devices. You should also be able to use Sky Go via your web browser on your Windows PC or laptop.

So thats it on these two,no point in going on about the banks because for two years i have tried and i have given up,i have given up.Some have mentioned also that they are possibly waiting for W10 to arrive or in the future Android apps can be ported onto WP but would that not admit defeat for Microsoft ??
