Some new Office tech arrives at Lidl this week and this time is a nice mid ranged Toshiba Cloubbook,Priced at €279,99 this is not a bad one to check out.. It comes with plenty of storage,100GB One Drive and running Windows 8.1,not a powerhouse but will do most jobs for the average user.Its a lightweight design and portability is easy too with and average battery life of 6 hrs.Also on board is USB 3.0 and HDMI for connectivity.

We have been waiting for a date for a long time and now we have one for the Apple Watch for us Irish,its to go on sale on September 25th,so for those waiting or have been saving you now know ,it may be also a good time to drop hints for the xmas present if you are willing to spend the money on Apples wearable,they start at €429 with the Sport edition,€679 for the Watch and €11,300 for the Watch edition,People that have been waiting to buy the watch have been rather annoyed that Apple has waited so long to release the watch here,considered they have a base in Ireland did not help the situation either..Up until now people had to import the device from the UK or pick one up on their travels…
Apple also says there is free delivery on all products over €40 which is nice of them..there is also a list of resellers made available so you can check with them too..Straps are also available to buy which start at €59 and head north from there, Will you be buying one,if so let us know below…
Recently Apple launched an Android app its first to be exact and was an app to help people switch to Android,there has been similar instances in the past but just hash tags on twitter and the likes,now its down to apps which is fine and im pretty sure someone will respond ,that being said one would wonder if Apple will allow it..
The app is simple and all you do is click the screen which says “click here to stay with Android” and then it says “Congratulations you did it,oh yeah do it again”.But thats it,the experience might be fun for some and useless for others but its fun to see a response to the Apple App which has got slated in the comments section in the Play Store.
The description of the app though is funny which says….

Something manufacturers could do realistically speaking anyway would be a good idea to either give a smartwatch free or bundle it with their new devices,this is something we hardly see here and if they want to sell their gadgets this would be a good idea across the board,there is still not a whole lot of traction here and activity/fitness trackers seem to be more popular..
However there is a nice deal on billpay with Meteor now that gives you a nice device and smartwatch in a bundle.They are the Alcatel Idol 3 4.7 inch and Watch.There is an Alcatel Idol 3 5.5 inch so not to get mixed up here on the particular model.

Amazon today announced a super budget tablet which will cost just $50 in an already overcrowded tablet space,this will be interesting and they will need to shift some amount to keep investors happy,not only that they have introduced a 6 pack deal which really is buy 5 and get one free,this would be targeting groups or families or even some companies perhaps and coming up to xmas they would make a nice gift..Pre-orders have started today and they ship on the 30th September. Popular app Snapchat is to now charge users for replaying chats,but you get three plays for this,it will cost $0.99 which will most likely annoy lots of users,don’t use it much myself but there is a way around it.Currently you are allowed ONE replay as it stands.. IAPs will now cost between €1.11 – €5.57 per item.

Today, U.S. Snapchatters can purchase extra Replays, starting at 3 for $0.99. You can use a Replay on any Snap you receive, but you can only Replay any Snap once. They’re a little pricey — but time is money! 😉
Also they have added some features to the app is lenses which will allow you to add special effects which will be updated daily,you tap and hold the screen and follow the instructions to add desired effects.also added to app was trophies which unlocks them based on your own achievement’s.
There is several apps actually allow you to record snapchats and the user does not even know,same goes for taking screenshots too,if you want to download them you can Google them and you will be led to APK sites but be careful.
To date snapchat have not introduced a windows phone app and it does not look like there will be one soon either.
This would not be the first time a bond themed Sony hits the UK and falls in line with the upcoming Spectre film and we can be sure we will see it in the film too which launches in the UK on 26th October.Of course this is a special exclusive partnership with Vodafone UK,hopefully we should see it here too but we have to wait and see on that one..
