All products below are available from Smartech/.
Taking lighting design to the next level (literally), FLYTE (£249) is a levitating light bulb which hovers by magnetic levitation and is powered through the air. Combining art and technology, FLYTE is made from the finest materials including sustainably sourced oak, ash and walnut and energy efficient LEDs that provide approximately 50,000 hours of light. No batteries required, turning on and off the FLYTE is as simple as touching the surface of the base. Even when the light is off, levitation will remain intact. Not just a light, the base has a built-in induction coil which will transform the FLYTE into a wireless charging base station.
The Mino Bluetooth rechargeable speaker (£29.99) is mini in size but surprisingly powerful. Only slightly bigger than a Nespresso coffee capsule and extremely light, it can be used to play music, make conference calls and even take selfies! The Mino comes in 10 striking colours and is ideal for music lovers on the move! Charging time is just 35 minutes for two hours playback from any Bluetooth connected device.
Muse (£299) is a brain sensing headband and app that makes meditation easier. Meditation has been proven to reduce stress and increase focus, but it can be hard to know if it’s being done right. Muse provides users with real-time audio feedback on what’s happening in the brain when meditating, letting users know when their mind wanders and teaching them to regain focus. Muse can improve meditation practice in as little as three minutes use a day, anytime, anywhere, helping users to feel more relaxed, less stressed and in a better mood.
Skyroam Solis (£150) is a global WiFi hotspot and power bank that helps keep users connected and powered up on-the-go, all day long. Offering super-fast 4G LTE speeds in over 120 countries, Skyroam enables travelers, business people or even families to access the internet, on demand, from wherever they are.
Users can connect up to five devices at once to the Skyroam Solis, it has a 16+ hour battery life and also doubles up as a power bank thanks to its 6000mAh battery. With no contracts involved, users pay only for what they use with unlimited global WiFi costing from just 8 euros per day.
nuraphone (£349) is the world’s first headphone to automatically learn and adapt to a user’s unique hearing in a bid to provide the best possible listening experience. The nuraphone learns a user’s hearing in about one minute. The first time they put on the nuraphone, it plays a short series of tones. As they hear these tones, the inner ear actually produces a tiny sound in response. This tiny sound is called the Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) and it tells the nuraphone what tones the ears are more or less sensitive to. The nuraphone uses six extremely sensitive microphones to detect this returning sound and automatically creates a unique hearing profile.
With the hearing profile applied, the user will hear their favourite music like never before. The unique profile is stored within the nuraphone allowing users to listen to any device with perfect sound.
