Huawei have announced two new smartphones, the P9 and P9+ today. Following on in design language from before the new devices will sport 2 cameras which will be 12mp. Now keep in mind Mega-pixels mean nothing these days,we are all lead to believe more pixels mean better photos, this does not apply. Dual cameras have been seen before and we have not seen the last of them either.. Huawei claim the new camera is more sensitive and have teamed up with Leica.

Both devices do look premium and this time come with USB-C ports this may be an issue for some right now and a tad inconvenient but this is the direction we are going in the next 2 year. The P9 comes with a 3000mAh battery has 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage and will have expandable storage,Its in-house processor is the  octa-core Kirin 955.. The P9 has a 5.2 inch screen and its just 6.95 mm thick. There will also be a 64GB/4GB RAM model available..Another thing to note is that there is a fingerprint scanner too, this has been something thats being added to more and more devices of late. Both devices also ship with Marshmallow out of the box which is good considering its past releases.

The P9+ comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB on board storage with a 3400mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster.Like music and entertainment on your mobile?? Its got dual speakers this time giving stereo sound.

Both devices are expected to launch this month on the 16th and pricing would be around €599 for the 3GB /32GB version and €649 for the 4GB/ 64GB. The P9 is expected to cost around €749. See more at Huawei.Com for full details.
