Something that developers have been asking for since long time ago, is the ability to offer promo codes to the customers in order to promote their apps.
Well, now that’s about to be a reality as Google has finally accepted the request, with some minor limits.
The only “limitation” made by Google is related to the number of Codes Developers can make per month, a max of 500 promo codes can be given away each quarter, but they are allow to choose the expiration date as maximum of a year after the promotions started.
They can browse through the code in three different windows like, Active, Paused and Finished.
This is a well known marketing campaign as the customer have the idea of getting more for what they’re paying for.
