Irish Yapping is a new way for people to connect if at home or abroad and not miss a thing, you can keep in touch with what is going on in the community, stay in touch with an international community, community business support and check out local charity events..

David Willoughby who is co founder and CEO took time out to tell us about the idea..

We created Yapping with the view of a social network that connected,Local Communities with our Geo Fencing technology.Allowing people interact at a local level. Through the development we looked at how the App could also help the Diaspora, allowing people abroad drop a pin at a location in Ireland, set a radius and communicate with that area.

The first product of Yapping HQ Ltd is Irish Yapping and it was Pre Released today and we hope to officially launch in November when we attend the Web Summit in Dublin. With almost 1 Billion people of different Diasporas worldwide, we feel that Yapping has the potential to grow significantly.

The Irish Yapping app will halt the silent erosion of Irish communities wherever they are.It is bringing together real and virtual worlds to reinvigorate and re-imagine what it means to be Irish for tens of millions of people overseas who have ties to Ireland as well as those still living on the island.

The app is simple to use and has a simple UI and you can login with either email or Facebook

This is a great idea and something new,you can download the app below from the respective stores and check out the website too, tell us what you think of the idea in the comments section..
