The Yoga Line from Lenovo is well known for its versatility and usability, although since the Yoga 3 Pro we haven’t seen to much about them, but since yesterday, that’s changed..

Lets take a look a the newly announced Yoga Tab 3 Line

The Yoga Tab 3 8″ and Yoga Tab 3 10″

lenovo-yoga-tablet-3-8-inch-front-5These are refreshments of last year Tab 2 offering beautiful design and versatile usability with its Foldable Stand with a new “push-button” release mechanism and a new rotable camera to act as rear and front camera, both the 8″ and the 10″ share most of the specs so, take a look at them:

Processor: Qualcomm APQ8009 (1.10GHz)

Operating system: ANDROID 5.1

Display: 8.0″ or 10″ LCD IPS Multi-touch (1280×800)

RAM: 1.0GB LPDDR2 800 MHz

Hard Drive: 16GB (MicroSD expandable up to 128GB)

Connectivity: Broadcom 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi wireless, Bluetooth Version 4.0 (LTE option available)

Battery: 2 Cell 6200mAH  (Up to 20 hours according to Lenovo) for the 8″ model and  8,400 mAh (Up to 18 hours) for the 10″

Camera: 8MP Rotatable Camera

Weight: 1.04 lbs for the 8″ and 1.47lbs for the 10″

Speakers:  Dual, front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos® audio enhancement

Ports:  Micro-USB and audio jack

Both offer the “AnyPen Technology” which allows you to use any conductive object (a regular pen could work) as a stylus.

For the price:

Yoga Tab 3 8″: $169 for WIFI Only and $199 for the LTE-capable one

Yoga Tab 3 10″: $199 for WIFI Only,  $249 LTE model

This year though there’s no 13″ model but a Pro model in town.

Meet the Yoga 3 Tab Pro

lenovo-yoga-tablet-3-pro-10-inch-front-detail-8This particular model seems to be a “mini” version of the Yoga 3 Pro from last year and a powerful variant of the 10″ regular model of this year with some big differences, but look for yourself:

Processor: Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor

Operating system: ANDROID 5.1

Display: 10″ QHD (2560×1600) LCD IPS Multi-touch screen


Hard Drive: 16GB (MicroSD expandable up to 128GB)

Body: IP21 splash proof  Certified

Battery: 10200 mAh battery (Up to 18 hours)

Camera: 13MP rear facing camera and 5MP front facing camera

Weight: 1.47lbs

Speakers: Front-facing soundbar with 4 premium JBL® speakers and Dolby Atmos® audio enhancement

Ports:  Micro-USB and audio jack

As you can see there’s no rotating camera in this model, but that’s because with this Pro version you’ll get a “Pico Projector” powerful enough to create a 70-inch screen wherever you want.

The price point of this model is of course higher than the normal 10″ version, if you really want to 70″ screen on your room you will need to pay $499.

All three tablet will be available later this year,being dates:

October 1st for the Tab 3 8″

November 1st for Tab 3 10″ and Tab 3 Pro
