ZTE is a manufacturer that now claims to be the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the U.S is now taking pre-orders for the newly announced Axon Phone.

“The Premium Device U.S deserves”

The Axon is an unusual phone for various reasons, but two of them are really interesting

1) Phone comes unlocked and untethered (Fully compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile and 4G almost anywhere in the world)

2) This High-End phone cost practically a half from the rest ($449.98)

The Axon has everything to fight against the Galaxy S6 and The G4, let’s take a look:

A 5.5-inch TFT Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels)
An Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor
An Adreno 430
4GB of RAM
32GB of internal storage (Sorry but no SD)
A 3000 mAh non-removable battery (with Quick Charge 2.0.)
A dual-lens rear camera of 13MP (down) + 2MP (top) with f/1.8 aperture. Offering the same capabilities we have seen on devices like the HTC M8
A front-facing camera with 8MP
Front Facing Speakers with two dedicated audio chipsets
Running near-stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

As you can see is very well equiped and it’s sold like the “all-things-you” phone you need:

The AKM 4961 Hi-Fi dedicated audio chipset also allows you to record Hi-FI audio as well with your 4k video (sounds nice, isn’t it?)
Apart from having a great smartphone experience ZTE is giving the “Axon Passport 1.0” a warranty of 2 years for your phone.

As a “bonus” the box include a pair of In-ear JBL E13 Headphones (something we have starting to miss with some manufacturers)

The Pre-orders for the Axon will start shipping at the end of July
