Xpreso received two awards at the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards at an event held in Dublin on 19 March – the “Innovation in Action” award and jointly with Nightline Couriers, the “Logistics & Transport Client/Supplier Achievement Award”. Nightline is Ireland’s leading independent delivery company and the Xpreso solution is currently being deployed to their full fleet of 350 drivers.

Xpreso eliminates the “Sorry We Missed You” card that shoppers receive when they are not at home when the courier calls with their online purchase. Unique to the market and a step-change from existing legacy technology, the Xpreso cloud-based SaaS solution provides consumers with parcel delivery status notifications, and a precise delivery window that narrows as the delivery driver approaches.

Consumers may track their driver in the Xpreso app and may re-direct their parcel to a neighbour, parcel locker/shop or request that the parcel is left in a safe place. Consumers may also pay in-app for items such as customs and VAT. Furthermore, returns are managed through the app.
Xpreso was launched in 2012 to bridge the gap between the customer, the delivery company and the online retailer. Xpreso believes that the delivery of the product is as important as the product itself and the company’s mission is to ensure that customers get a brilliant delivery experience. The co-founders Eamon, Simon, Paulo and Fabiano saw the lack of solutions meeting customer needs in this area and built the Xpreso platform from the ground up.
