Today at Mobile World Congress (MWC) , it was a big day for BlackBerry, they unveiled the latest smartphone from them the BlackBerry Leap. Leap is an affordable all-touch smartphone in a modern and powerful design that is built for career builders and companies who value security and privacy when pushing their productivity to the next level. With its modern design, brilliant edge to edge 5-inch HD display, and battery life that powers through a day, the BlackBerry Leap is a great device.

“With BlackBerry Leap complementing the latest BlackBerry portfolio, including BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic, we continue to provide products and services that meet the needs of our consumer and enterprise customers,” Louks added.

The Leap packs an 8MP autofocus camera with flash on the rear capable of capturing 1080p resolution videos and a 2MP camera for selfies and video calls. It has an internal storage memory of 16GB which can be expanded with an MicroSD card upto 128GB. Leap runs on a Qualcomm MSM 8960 1.5 GHz matted with 2GB RAM for smooth processing. BlackBerry Leap comes with BlackBerry 10 OS out of the box. Weighing 170g is a very light device with a waistline of 9.5mm Leap is very pocketable device.

Other than the Leap, Blackberry also showed what’s new and how secure the new update coded 10.3.1 of BlackBerry 10 OS is. Not only these BlackBerry also teased with a BlackBerry Slider phone with a full touch display and there was a new version of BlackBerry Classic introduced too.
