When the images surface of the Blackberry passport people were divided with how the device looked, especially in the form factor its in which is square to be simple, kind of reminds me of an older device which was the Nokia X5 which was limited in its day and not many seem to be around.

Blackberry will launch the phone in a total of 30 countries including France, Germany, Singapore and the UK, just to name a few. In the UK, an unlocked BlackBerry Passport will cost £484.98..

Blackberry is struggling as it is and they have been a long time now with little market share so thinking if this kind of form factor will work for them remains to be seen.
