We received our HTC Desire 816 during the week and we are a little busy working on things so sorry for the delay, here is a quick walk around of the device and there will be more to come later thanks.

Quick first thoughts

One of the things we did not like was where the camera is placed when holding the device you will find your fingers get in the way.

Another thing which is a bit cheap looking is how the sd card and nano sim are is covered by one strip of plastic, and depending how much you change devices i cant see this plastic strip lasting long.

The placing of the power key and volume toggle is odd and some will find it annoying all of course depending if you are left handed or right handed..For me its sadly annoying.Im used to having these keys on the right hand side of a phone and considered this is a large phone you will find yourself shuffling it in hand to get comfortable using it single handed.

So far its proved to be fast and quick, the speakers are on par with the HTC ONE M8 camera is good and its worth the money,it is actually a great value device for the cash you shed and above par with other devices in the same price bracket.
