Also note below….
Under Regulation 14 of the European Communities (electronic communications networks and services)(Universal Service and Users’ rights) Regulations 2011 an operator shall, not less than one month prior to the date of implementation of any proposed modification, notify its subscribers to that service of the proposed modification in the conditions of the contract for that service, and their right to withdraw without penalty from such contract if they do not accept the modification.
If you are a subscriber to the services affected by these changes and if you do not accept these changes you may cease to use the service without penalty by giving us written notice in accordance with Three’s terms and conditions prior to the implementation date of the change.
From the 18th April 2014, 3 are making changes to the way we charge for some calls of variable services as defined in your plan and here’s how you may be affected.
International calls – per minute billing
If you make a call from the Republic of Ireland to any international destination, calls will be charged on a per minute basis i.e. call rounding is changed from per second billing to per minute billing intervals.
e.g. With per second billing, a 45 second call to France costs 33.54c but will now cost 44.72c for the call.
Roaming calls received (destinations outside of the EU) – per minute billing
If you roam in a destination outside of the EU and somebody calls you, calls received will be charged on a per minute basis i.e. the rounding of this call is changed from per second billing to per minute billing intervals.
Directory enquiries price changes
The below pricing (see table below) is applicable for all calls made to national directory enquiry services on Flex Max & Flex price plans.
