Nokia Lumia 625 Unboxing Special for Nokia Connects #FightBoredom #Nokia cc @Nokia_Connects

We have been given a chance to participate in nokia connects fightboredom unboxing challenge last week and boy it was fun.

So the challenge was to do something different than the norm and i was thinking what could i do. My little girl Alice who is 5 next tuesday has been watching me with all my nokia products and seen me carry in a new package. So I began to think she would be up for doing my job unboxing, well to no surprise she said yes daddy i want to do it. Now she is no stranger to phones as she is surrounded by them here but never been on camera for a video so she was fine and so eager.

She even has a nickname around here, she has the Lumia 520 now and brings the 520 everywhere she loves it.She is called the LumiaChild around here. So here is my beautiful daughter unboxing the lumia 625 its funny…but cute.

She has already ditched the 520 for the 625 so she like her daddy likes to move on. Once again thanks to nokia connects for this fun experiment and i hope to see more..

Available in Nokia’s signature red, white, black, yellow and cyan, the colorful back covers are also removable. Made with Nokia’s renowned quality and attention to detail, the Nokia 108 gives people an outstanding introduction to mobile technology at a great price, and makes staying in touch with friends and family more fun and enjoyable.

“We continue to connect millions of people, including those for whom mobile phone ownership was previously out of reach,” said Timo Toikkanen, executive vice president, Mobile Phones, Nokia. “There remains a huge segment of the global population that has yet to own a camera phone. For the next billion people and beyond, we aim to bring new mobile experiences to ever-lower price points, and the Nokia 108 and Nokia 108 Dual SIM are great examples of this commitment.”

Great value as a first mobile or back-up phone

The Nokia 108 and Nokia 108 Dual SIM are great value, beautifully designed handsets for calls, texts and on-the-go entertainment including photos, Snake, music and video. So stay tuned to see what we come up with,we dont have much time but thats going to make it creative.

Top Irish womens website Her.ie Pays tribute to the Nokia 3210 #nokia #ireland #her.ie

Top womens website Her.ie has paid tribute to the long and gone nokia 3210 which was super popular in its day, here is what they had to say.Sue Murphy  writes the following!

EIGHT REASONS WE REALLY MISS THE NOKIA 3210

Everyone had a Nokia 3210 when they were younger, for most it was the first phone, for others it became the only phone that you would ever use. Here are eight reasons we miss the Nokia 3210.

1. It was virtually indestructible.

We have seen Nokias washed in the washing machine, hit concrete floors and fall into toilets and they still come out absolutely perfectly.

2. Snake

Hours and hours of endless amusement.

3. The Covers Were Amazing.

One particular Her.ie staff member had a cover which was a map of Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings. Amazing.

4. You could make sweet, sweet music.

There was none of this “download a tone” rubbish, with the Nokia 3210, you could become Beethoven.

5. Personlised Service

You turned on your phone, and it declared your name! Occasionally with a nice little picture that moved on the screensaver. Nice….

6. The Nokia ringtone

The universal sound for a phone ringing now.

7. Predictive text

Sure, your iPhone does this sometimes, but certainly not to the same extent as your wonderful Nokia. Of course, it did take a while to actually adapt to that.

8. A phone was a phone.

Wasn’t everything just better when all you used your phone for was text messages and calls? Now, it knows your life better than you do.

Her.ie and sue we salute you for a great reminder of a nokia classic.
